May Queen (Reina de Mayo)

Published —Spanish version— in GALLITO COMICS #48 (February 1998).

Republished —English version— by RADIO COMIX in MILK #23 (May 2001).

10 pages.

The Rain-man (the guy that gives us drizzles and storms) is looking for the May Queen (the girl that makes all the plants grow), because she left the country a long time ago, and her flowers must need some water. But now the Queen is in danger: in the outside land the summer is over and the colder days are coming...

Another experiment with scaned textures over scanned pencil drawings. The superior and inferior horizontal strips were designed to make the panels fit the American comics format.
